Schwarzbrennerei Destille

We had dinner in this restaurant during our stay in Andernach. The apartment owner recommended it - saying it was one of her favourites. We understand why - great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. There was no English menu but the waitress translated a few options for us. We ate early 6pm (on a Saturday) and the restaurant was already getting busy - so a reservation may be advisable for later in the evening. The restaurant is easy to find - a little outside the old town and close to Lidl supermarket.

Personally, this disturbs the clothes you have always smelled like kitchen and food when leaving the place. In the restaurant it is not very bright what some guests like, the dressed food you cannot see well, maybe a flashlight would be appropriate. In summer, when it's bright outside, it's okay.

Great food, reasonable priced. The restaurant is also cozy. Went there with my girlfriend and we had a nice candlelight dinner. Kind and helpfull staff

We were just looking for some food and a nice place for some time to kill on the way back to the airport - great food, good price, quirky atmosphere
