The restaurant did the job but we were not very impressed by the cuisine, with dishes varying between vert good and very average. Service was also so so. Altogether nothing was really wrong (except the wine) and this place is large and convenient but will...likely be quickly forgotten.

We had lunch in this place for the first time. We visited Hinterzarten during a trip to the Schwarzwald. This is a very traditional place with nice people and good service. The food was not expensive but nevertheless very good.

Quick and polite service at this traditional family hotel restaurant. The fish was excellent. Cooked to perfection. Spaghetti bolognaise, my daughter ordered was ok and not more. Side salads very good!

I had dinner twice in this restaurant and I appreciated some typical food of the region. The service is very friendly, the atmosphere comfortable. Price convenient.
