Sea Porch At The Don Cesar

The food and atmosphere were both great. My daughter and I were in St. Pete for the weekend, and were happy to be able to reserve a table on Saturday night. We each enjoyed our meals, but we were both frustrated by the slow service. On Sunday, we were trying to find a table elsewhere, but couldn't find any availability, so we checked out the Sea Porch on Open Table again, and were able to get a reservation within the hour. Again, the food was great. However, once again, the service was slow. It seems that they may be under-staffed and that, maybe, the staff isn't properly trained how to prioritize. I'd recommend this restaurant, but only if you're willing to be patient.

I have been dining at this restaurant since 2006. Parking has always been free for a two-hour duration while visiting eateries, but this year they implemented a no-related parking policy during the week. It ended up costing us nearly $29 to park while we were in the Seahorse Cafe. While I don't want to say I'll never eat here again, the management made a poor decision regarding this change. - Paula Whitney

We ate lunch at Don Cesar and had a wonderful meal. The grouper sandwich, yellow snapper and salads were excellent. Our server was good as well. Then we had drinks at the poolside bar. We spent nearly $500 in 2 hours. However, they charged us $42 to park our car. Why do they punish locals that spend good money to eat there?

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Professional, friendly staff especially at the Rowe Bar, and great in-room service from Joseph. Opened our door to a huge smile : and our tray was arranged nicely, including a flower! Also, at the pool, we received help (twice with rearranging our chairs and umbrella to stay in the shade Reserva una mesa ahora

You can't go wrong at Don! The Sunday grand buffet at Don was an excellent choice for celebrating a birthday. It was a lovely day, with live music and plenty of drinks flowing. While the selection isn't huge, there are enough breakfast and transitional options to cater to most dietary preferences.

Have eaten here several times, always good. This time food was very disappointing. Service was good, albeit slow. We will likely give them another chance, but repeat food quality would cause us to not return.

The calamari dipping sauce could use a bit more flavor, and the cipollini onions were also somewhat lacking in taste.

Food great, service perfect. A good evening ruined by a charge of 27.00 for parking.
