The restaurant is run by owners who engage in corrupt practices such as bribing city officials and providing free meals to sanitation department employees in exchange for favors. They also bribe health inspectors and fail to provide proper personal protective equipment to their workers. Employees are verbally abused and threatened, with the management pitting them against each other to maintain control. It is recommended to boycott this establishment and work towards its closure.
A local gem! The chowder is made fresh daily, and the bread bowls are available only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It’s delicious, loaded with clams. But the highlight is definitely the catfish! I had it as a lettuce wrap, and it was freshly cooked, hot, and perfectly seasoned—absolutely fantastic! By the way, I noticed that the homeless have been relocated and there are none around now.
Loved this spot! It's a walk up deli with fresh fish tacos and shrimp sandwiches. The sauce was like none other.I liked the sitting area outside a d looking at the view of the bay, people watching.The staff was really nice and the food was packed with awesome flavor.It was a nice stop in a long scenic walk. It doesn't look like much from the outside but there is flavor talent in there.

It's been a while since I've been there, and the prices have definitely changed. My shrimp tasted burnt, and I asked from double fries instead of coleslaw. I still received coleslaw. Had an opportunity to revisit Seabreeze in Berkeley on a beautiful day after a 20 year absence. Ordered the prawn basket (4 large ones) which came with fries and coleslaw. The prawns require 3-4 bites each and they were so delicious and filling, I was only able to eat 2...saving the other 2 for my snack
Surprisingly good food with a short wait. The folks working there were very friendly and working their butts off in a hot space. The place just needs a little cleaning and a coat of paint.

The New England clam chowder is very good.The reuben sandwich is not a reuben at all because they use mustard instead of thousand islands dressing. But still a solid sandwich
Don’t pass this place up! Delicious fries, and great fried seafood. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Perfect place for an after walk meal.
