Husband and I went here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. Seated upstairs where it was quieter and felt a little classier to us. Excellent service from all of the staff. They were perfectly attentive without being overbearing. It was a fabulous meal--lovely plating, tasty dishes, high quality ingredients--but also fabulously expensive. Scallops were some of the best ever. We devoured them and the thyme/pepper loaf. Filet was good and perfectly cooked but not melt in your mouth like other filets we have had. Sides were top notch: roasted corn, wild mushrooms, and enormous baked potato. We knew it was expensive but were taken aback by the small red wine pour (seemed like only 4 ounces...
Another over priced and underperforming steak place. Prime rib eye was requested at medium based on description from the waiter and came over cooked. Should have ordered it medium rare. Nothing special about it at all. Thin cut and very pedestrian. Why hide such allegedly expensive meats with overpowering sauces? Let the meat, cooked medium rare do the talking. Learn from the florentines. Reduce the size of the sides and the prices. No one can eat the Caesar or a potato by themselves. Maybe add sides to the entrees that one person could eat. The corn soup and the blueberry soufflé were the best items of the night. For the price, we could have made a much better meal at home for 6 people, not...
Good but nothing special. We had a wedding here and we're back for our 3 year anniversary. Thought we would get a better table, but no. Maybe a dessert , but no. We are locals that have the potential to be a frequent customer but they showed us no deference. We will probably be back but no expectations that they give a sh*t about us.
I was quite disappointed considering the prices. It seems that most people enjoy their steaks. However, out of the three sides we ordered, the corn was the biggest letdown. Additionally, the waiter served my cocktail on the rocks instead of straight up and blamed me for it without offering any apology.

We dined here and we were very impressed and pleased with our choices. They take the time to treat each patron with extra attention and care. Food was prepared and cooked perfectly. Had the filet mignon and my husband had the rib eye. We will be back.
Selanne was outstanding, from the service to the meal! The steaks are top-notch, definitely the best in Orange County. The restaurant is located in Laguna Beach, in a charming house that offers a wonderfully upscale atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Jay was our server and had great suggestions for our first visit. Excellent service. Food was excellent but be prepared to pay for it. Scallops were delicious as was the halibut. Will definitely be back for another special occasion.

The food was delicious. We went for our anniversary so we were hoping for a romantic feel, but we were near the bar and they had tv's showing games. Other than that everything was fantastic.
Service excellent. The red meat entre was just so so, surprisingly average. Appetizers and salads very very good. Repeat customer but will have to say the steaks are not exceptional
