Lovely, rustic pub with very friendly and accommodating staff. The food is tasty, the beer is cold, and the seating is comfortable, all at reasonable prices. I ordered the 10-ounce Rump Steak, cooked medium, with pepper sauce. The steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, the sauce was excellent, and the chips were great as well. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely consider returning.
A lovely bar and restaurant, plenty of seating inside and out, a good variety of beers and wines, staff very friendly and helpful, plenty of parking, Food very good, but generally you need too book if you want a Sunday roast. I came here for a meal after two other places didn’t work out, and I’m glad I did! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. They were quite apologetic since they were short-staffed, but the service was still excellent. We'll definitely be coming back! Service: 5, Location: 5.
I had lunch on Saturday with a group of 13, including a dog, and it was one of the best pub lunches I've had in a long time. I only had dinner here, but it was a delightful experience with delicious food and wonderful service. I would definitely return. For food, I enjoyed the baked Camembert, posh scampi, and the chickpea and sweetcorn burger. I would rate the service a solid 5!
I had an amazing dining experience at this lovely pub. I've been here before and will definitely return. The food was fantastic, and I rated the rooms, service, and location all 5 stars. The hotel offers great value as well!
Best pub around the area food is Delish I had the roast dinner and was amazing. Staff are friendly will be back.
