**Pros:** The service was excellent and very friendly. Our food arrived quickly; we had a reservation for 5 p.m. and finished our meal by 5:45 p.m. The bread, which is their specialty, was delicious. It was clear that everything was prepared with high-quality ingredients and made fresh to order. The atmosphere was also very pleasant.
**Cons:** However, I found everything to be a bit pricey. Given that Semolina offers a strictly Italian menu with limited options, I was hoping for a level of perfection that was lacking. The gnocchi was overcooked, the Carbonara was excessively rich with the addition of cream, and the Panna Cotta was too loose, resembling yogurt more than a traditional dessert...
Semolina is an outstanding restaurant. The staff is consistently friendly, and I’ve never been let down by the food. With a seasonal menu, we make it a point to visit once each season. The dishes strike a wonderful balance between innovation and comfort. Last year, we had our wedding reception catered by Semolina, and they prepared a stunning four-course dinner for the occasion. Chuck, the owner, was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process, even addressing some dietary needs of our guests. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Semolina is my favorite restaurant in NJ. Chuck and his staff are always incredibly kind attentive. The food is always top notch. My wife and I have been coming here every season for 3 years now and have never had a bad meal. Chuck even catered our wedding and all of our guests raved about the food. There's not a bad thing I could ever say about the food or staff at this place. Truly a grade A establishment from top to bottom. Thank you Semolina! I'm so grateful to have a place like this local that I can frequent. See y'all again soon!

4 of us... 3apps.. 2 big pastas as a second course... and 4 entrees. When entrees were dropped we had 20 mins to eat and bounce. We we're given dessert menus, but made to feel uncomfortable. The restaurant recently added on for a “pasta shop” maybe hang the pasta from the wall and add extra tables. The restaurant continues to mock reviewers for similar time constraint reviews... but they're valid.. VERY valid! Part of this business is adjusting.... Figure that out.. C
Finally had the chance to make it over from semolina after constantly hearing rave reviews! It absolutely lived up to all expectations and then some ! Menu is creative and every thing we ate had some love in it! Highly recommend , apps, pasta and main dishes all a 10! Service was perfect, and most importantly all employees looked like they loved being a part of the team! Love that. Can’t wait to get back!
Absolutely perfect meal from the delicious, crusty bread to the appetizers tuna crudo, peach panzanella salad, squash blossoms, corn agnolotti, tomato salad and the mains the tuna and the fluke. The budino and the rice pudding were also amazing. Service was outstanding as usual. Wait staff are always so friendly they treat us like family. Love Semolina!!!
Overall, it's a fantastic spot for dinner. The bread was excellent, and the pork chop was outstanding. However, my wife’s pasta dish didn’t quite meet expectations and was lacking in seasoning. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. I’d rate it 8.1 out of 10, with the food getting a 4 out of 5.

Always consistent. Great food,great service, great chef, great management.We usually have Karen as a server but she happened to be off that day but Trish was absolutely outstanding. We are monthly visitors for dinner along with our neighbors. don't change the Pork chop).!!!!!!!!!?
Tuna Crudo appetizer was bland and tasteless Bucatini Norma Pasta was a glutinous glop of pasta with way too much sauce Panzanella Salad was overly large croutons that had not been soaked or marinated as supposed to be for a panzanella salad
