I stopped by Shakey's for lunch not too long ago. This is usually one of my favorite places to go for a pizza lunch whenever somebody suggests it. Their Bunch of Lunch deal consists of their salad bar, awesome pizza selections, and a bunch of different side such as mojo potatoes, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and a lot of other things. The salad at the salad bar is decent at times but I know in the past sometimes it was kind of iffy but usually it's fine. Use your best judgement. There's a lot of elaborate toppings and vegetables. 02/02/2023 Stopped by Shakey's today for Bunch-A-Lunch. I love this location it's my choice. My friends prefer the Monterey Park location. I'm not a big mojo's eater, but according to my friends they make the mojo's different here. To me mojo's are mojo's I can't taste the difference. The San Gabriel location has a bigger salad bar than Monterey Park more choices equals more satisfaction. They usually have at least 4-6 different kinds of pizza on hand. My favorites are the Veggie pizza and the Jalapeno/sausage/pepperoni pizza. I like the roasted chicken vs the fried chicken, and sometimes a few mojo's. I'm a big fan of pizza, especially Shakey's, but my recent visit to a location I hadn’t been to before was incredibly disappointing. The pizza was doughy and undercooked, the cheese was stringy and clumped together, and there was very little sauce – in some spots, there was none at all. To top it off, the cutting of the pizza was careless. Overall, it felt like the staff had no regard for quality from start to finish. I’ve included pictures for reference.
We came for bunch of lunch and it did not disappoint. It was around $34 for 2 adults 1 drink for lunch. It was extremely packed but the staff did an outstanding job doing their best to make sure food was constantly coming out and most importantly everything was clean. Daisy was very friendly and attentive! The service alone was honestly 5 stars, great job Shakey's team and thank you for a delicious lunch!!

I went during the all-you-can-eat lunch special. The options included salad, pasta, pizza, and fried chicken. Unfortunately, the food stations weren't the cleanest. The pizzas were a bit hard and lacked flavor. However, the fried chicken was exceptional and definitely deserves 5 stars—super crispy and very delicious!
Very bad management am not saying anything more but few days ago my chicken one of the pieces were raw and one of them were like too well done like blackish so I complain it to somebody on the phone and when I went inside, they said they will give it to me and they didn't very embarrassing
This is a pretty decent Shakey's. The all-you-can-eat option is a great deal if you're in the mood for unlimited pizza, fried chicken, and mojos. The service is okay, but nothing exceptional. The atmosphere is very laid-back. Overall, I would definitely come back for the pizza!
Those who know me know I'm obsessed with all things Skakeys. You don't visit for anything but tasty pizza and a fun evening out. Like all locations, the restaurant in general is nostalgic of my childhood. The pizza, the mojos, the chicken. Life is good at Shakeys.

Although it's been a while since I've been to this Shakey's, service pizzas are as I remember... Timely delicious! The two people that assisted me were Matthew Manny. Keep up with the excellent service guys!
Pizza is expensive AF!!!! And pizza sucks with smaller Portions . Never coming back to any shakeys whatsoever!!
