The decor had an odd blend of a kitchen and a Japanese restroom, which didn't really stimulate my appetite. The waitress seemed indifferent or uninformed; she declined to offer any dish recommendations, claiming that everything was good and that I couldn't go wrong with my choices. That turned out to be untrue. I sampled about ten dishes, and half of them were either too salty or overcooked. Everything we order is good! They use quality ingredients, seasoning is on the slightly lighter side and yet is not just plain taste. The Dashi Maki is very juicy, Dashi Chazuke is very comforting, we also ordered cold tofu which is very refreshing and got good flavors. Oden broth is on the lighter side. Overall, seasoning is on the lighter side and they got the flavors on point. Would definitely come back.

Authentic Japanese family-style food, love the atmosphere inside. It made you feel like dining in Japan right after entering. The service is indeed slower but me and my husband do enjoy the flow very much, after all everything is worth waiting.

The Japanese food here is truly authentic. The menu can be a bit difficult to understand. Be cautious, as there are charges for everything, including water. Overall, the food is excellent!
