Being ramen officiados after a trip to Japan, we searched for an appropriate ramen restaurant and this one came up. It hit the mark perfectly. We have now made it our regular dine out. The ramen is authentic and tasty, the prices reasonable and the staff very attentive and friendly. You are squished into a small eating area but after dining out in Japan, we became used to this style and just further reminds us of Japan. Highly recommend a visit.
The restaurant is consistently busy and it's difficult to secure a table without a reservation. This Ramen spot is extremely popular, especially their Sichuan Ramen which is absolutely fantastic! I also highly recommend trying their Bento Boxes, they are amazing too. Make sure to arrive early because it gets crowded fast. My advice? Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
her green teeis is something to die. sometimes we consciously drive from caulfield to carnegie to buy the ice. it should be noted that the ice really melts fast. a few rams I personally prefer still hakata gensuke in the cbd, but considering that the raves are cheaper here and the taste is also quite good, simply not to my taste.
And when I say suburban , I 'm talking about Tokyo suburbs, not Melbourne suburbs. Good menu, great selection, very authentic ramen experience. The Ramen at this restaurant is excellent and is considered one of the best in Melbourne. It tends to be busy during lunch and dinner service. They accept eftpos for payment, so you don't need to bring cash.
This is the best Udon I have ever had in Melbourne, and even more importantly, it's the best my son has had. He has been known to travel to Japan just for Udon, so that says a lot.

it is a small place, so if they are sitting near the entrance/cashier area, there is always a line/group of people next to them.
