Much waste. Portions are too big and more than half is thrown away. At the same time it is extremely cheap.. Makes me wonder what kind of meat- and fish (residues) are processed. Why not serving less and better quality ? I don’t understand how we can treat the earth like this.. Nevertheless, the food is very tasty , the restaurant is a beatiful place, the cider is spectacularly served and one gets a nice chance to dive into Asturian traditions. También probé Tierra Astur en Oviedo ¡y son los mejores! Siempre estoy escéptico con los menús grandes, pero en este caso todo es tradicional asturiano. Las porciones son muy grandes, como deben ser las tradicionales asturianas, todo es súper sabroso, la atmósfera es única e impresionante y las personas que trabajan allí son increíbles. Vivo en el otro lado de Asturias (Llanes), pero no puedo esperar para hacer algo en la ciudad y visitar uno de los Tierra Astur. No se lo pierdan en Gijón, Oviedo o Avilés.
Second experience in Tierra Astur after the one in Oviedo. One star less due to the staff attitude: sometimes slow and not attentive (i.e. despite the low occupancy of the restaurant our cider was not poured). Food was great in presentation, taste and quantity. Decor really good
