12 of us arrived without a booking at 8.15pm. We were told that, as a group of 12, we must have the banquet at $49 per head. I suggested we split into 2 groups of six. No, not acceptable. We left. We ate next door where we were welcomed.An old friend insisted we eat there a week later. Just the two of us. Very noisy, so as soon as we finished, we left for a quiet drink elsewhere.I had been there on a few occasions previously, and the place was fine. I am worried that there has been a change of some sort. Won't be back.
I went to Singapore House with a group of business colleagues. The main man ordered for all of us so that we shared dishes. While the service was excellent, I found that most of the dishes didn't live up to the expectation of this well known establishment. Don't get me wrong, the food was lovely bit it just didn't live up to the hype. Better than average grub.
I'm from Brisbane so it means a lot that out of all the great restaurants in Adelaide, I've been here thrice and excited each time. Step off the street into what I imagine a colonial Singaporean club to be. The food is different from run-of-the-mill and always delicious. Visit the Butterfly Room. I feel like a duchess here. Full marks.
The ambience is lovely with quirky decorations and lovely lighting. The butterfly room is especially striking! We had the shared street food menu. There was so much food and each plate that was brought out was delicious. Everything was well balanced and full of flavour!! Can highly recommend. Will definitely be back!!

The food was outstanding but I do not like it when restaurants put 7 people at a table that should sit 4The soft shell crab is one of the best I have had anywhere and I have tried a few. The flat noodles with prawns will fill you up with a beautiful seasoning
With a booking of over 20 people on a Tuesday night you would expect restaurant not to be too busy - wrong! extremely busy. Had $55 banquet. Everything delicious from the first mouthful to the last
Went here with another couple, food was nice and service was great! The restaurant forgot to bring our drinks out but they were very apologetic and gave them to us on the house.
Dined recently as a group. Good was delicious (although banquet portions were a little small) and restaurant is lovely. It's always busy here which is a sign of a great place!

Absolutely fantastic street food. The restaurant can be noisy but the food and service compensates for this. Had a great dinner. The Singapore sling was divine.
