The best food in town! These dishes are based on the owner's mom's recipes, and sometimes you can catch her behind the counter, stirring up something delicious. The dining area is quite basic (it used to be a hotdog stand), but the food quality is unparalleled. There's nothing on the menu that’s less than great, though I always opt for the "Tony Style" chicken plate, which comes with layers of buckwheat kasha, hummus, and tabbouleh. During the lockdown, we ordered takeout from here at least once a week, and it was clear we weren’t alone—there's a dedicated group of regulars who many times get greeted by name by the owner.
No pics of the food because i gobbled it down as soon as i got it. Amazing!! The rice was out of this world delicious! I haven't enjoyed a rice dish this much in a long time. So freaking good. The chicken and lula kebab were also pretty delicious. The flavors were on point, and the meat was incredibly juicy!! Definitely going back.Get the lunch special. It's worth it.
This review is specifically about the catering service. We've ordered from this restaurant twice to serve over 80 people, and both times the delivery was prompt and everything was complete. The food has received outstanding feedback from everyone.
I'm Armenian their pilaf is second only to my sacred family recipe. I have NEVER enjoyed/eaten EXCELLENT pilaf ever until we visited. The steak kabobs? PERFECTION! Some of the BEST Baba Ganoush as well. Will be back ASAP!
