Skinny's Smoke House

I have been an avid supporter of Skinnys since its inception on Third in Medicine Hat. I applauded their creative approach to menu enhancements throughout the last couple of years during COVID and frequently purchased both for myself and as gifts the take and bake options. I believed in supporting local and always enjoyed the meals. In the past, i made a point of taking out of town visitors here proudly for a meal. I am disappointed at this point to have reached out via email, phone call as well as social media to the restaurant as I understand there has been a recent change in management, one that seems unwilling to appreciate past loyalty. thanks for letting me look like a superstar woman! my man worked on jubiläum in der medizin. he is a bbq enthusiast and has smoked many hours meat makes many of the things on their menu, so he is a hard critic. he is hard to impress when it comes to bbq. I ordered him to eat in the hotel, and he cried out absolutely how good it is. he was totally excited about how great it was to eat, and that the wings were exactly like being, the brisket was perfect. everything was delicious. 5 stars safe! many thanks for the great food, he loved it all! This is a fantastic spot to stop while traveling through Medicine Hat, especially if you’re looking for a quick and affordable meal. My wife and I weren't particularly hungry, so we decided to share some wings and the burnt ends sandwich (which came with truffle fries). It turned out to be the perfect portion for a quick meal during our trip, helping me stay alert behind the wheel. The food was delicious, and the burnt ends on the sandwich were generous, spilling over the sides exactly as you'd want. I apologize for not taking a picture of the sandwich beforehand—the presentation was impressive! I can’t wait to come back and try some of the other dishes.

Legit, top 5 burger experiences I've ever had. It was a promotional burger for the battle of Alberta (obv I picked the Edmonton burger! Big beef patty with pulled brisket and bbq sauce, I think?? Lol The portion of the fries was a little saddening, but they were amazing too! Tori, our server, was an absolute delight, and I felt terrible for not leaving a tip, because I didn't know if I was aloud to with the company card. Today was my first time at Skinny’s, and I had a really nice experience. I read some reviews before going, including a few one-star comments, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was incredibly friendly and even recommended one of their favorite dishes, which I found delicious. I urge anyone who hasn't tried it yet to come and have their own experience to decide for themselves whether or not to come back, despite any negative reviews they may see. As for me, I will definitely be returning!

A must on the list of places to eat in Medicine Hat! Prepare to be greeted by the delectable smokehouse smell as soon as you 're in the parking lot, this restaurant had us smiling from start to finish. Nachos and brisket and sausage, oh my! The Nacho 's were perfectly baked and the salsa was so good! The caramelized burnt ends blew us away, and the three and three was delightful. The star of it all was definitely the brisket. Highly recommend!

Overall the food was tasty although personally I found the pulled pork a little dry. Also had takeout and tried a burnt end sandwhich for lunch the next day and again although the smoke was there it def wasn't fresh bbq. Maybe I just got spoiled from all the bbq I tried and experienced in Tulsa Ok area over the years while there for work.

Loved the Three Three dish. Brisket, smoked chicken and sausage were great. My kids(3) had the burger, chicken strips and Mac cheese. My youngest didn't like the Mac cheese. I am not a Mac cheese fan so I can't confirm or deny if she's right. Friendly staff and prompt service. Will definitely go back for more. Reserva una mesa ahora

"There’s a charming little smokehouse in the Hat that’s definitely worth a visit. It's located just across the street from some residential neighborhoods, so I imagine the locals must crave BBQ throughout the day! They have authentic wooden picnic tables that add to the cozy atmosphere..."

The food is great, the prices are very reasonable. We left full and satisfied. Our servers were friendly, well organized and the food came in a timely manner.
