I went there today for the very 1st time because I was craving a good handmade burger and after hearing great things about Skips I finally gave them a try. This place flippin blew my mind. After glancing the menu they had me at mini beef wellingtons!! The service was top notch, friendly and personable and just gave off amazing vibes from the cashier to meeting the GM of Skips (who happens to be the son of the owner, super cool dude, would totally grab a beer w the guy). I tried this place and it was delicious, made to order, fresh ingredients, the service was outstanding and I recommend. I thought about only giving 4 stars but were all struggling right now and the price of hamburger in the grocery store is outrageous!! I can’t complain about price at this time! I’m happy to support a locally owned independent business! I like the deck of cards bonus — if you pull a joker your entire bill is free? Or maybe just a meal? Was told that someone wins daily!

This was my first visit, and while the atmosphere was fun, the food was meh. When you order, you pick 1 card from a deck, and if you get a Joker, your meal is free. I didn't get one, but the novelty was fun. I wouldn't mind going back and trying something else on the menu.

Honestly...this is (so far) the best burger I've ever had. Service was so welcoming, charming, and quick. I had been waiting so long to check out this local favorite, and I am very glad I finally did. Definitely worth a visit the next time you're in the Carmichael area. Reserva una mesa ahora

Skip (The Owner) took my order. Food was delicious and promptly delivered. Their tortilla soup is quite good too. Western Burger was great. This place delivered on food, service, and the atmosphere.
