The food here (3 separate visits over 2 years time) has been mediocre. I think if you like from-freezer-to deep fry-to plate fare, then you'll be in the right place. Really nothing to be excited about. The restaurant is dirty, tables/plastic table cloths are greasy and torn. Glass/windows are just gross. There seems to be a lack of staff each time we've gone in. That being said, the servers are very friendly and fast, and courteous so no complaints there. Very hard working team. The bathrooms are old, dark and dirty. Update your hours. Or just be unreliable like the rest of South Carolina near the Interstates. I just needed to find a place to catch the end of the NBA Finals and grab a bite. I-95 has so little near the Interstate. I actually backtracked as I found this place after I passed it. Came back, there was a handful of cars in the lot, about 5-6 people sitting at the bar with every TV off. I was quickly told they were closed. Hours say to midnight on Google. Hours say to midnight ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE. Thanks for closing on a night that I really needed something to be open. I don't know why South Carolina is always such a hassle to travel thru in late night hours....just absolute trash.
We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, mainly because it caught our eye as an interesting place to visit. The exterior gives off the vibe of a biker bar, but once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised to find lots of families enjoying their meals and a DJ spinning some fantastic tunes. Our waitress was attentive and provided excellent service. Both the drinks and the food were delicious. If we lived nearby, we would certainly come back.
I always make it a point to stop in while coming through traveling between NC and FL. I’m ALWAYS feeling comfortable even as a younger female who is usually traveling alone. I typically arrive a little after lunch! Skynards has great food, a great atmosphere, always locals where the bartenders know them by name but treat you just as well too! I can’t speak for the night life but know that the lunch crew speaks volumes and has for years in a row.

My family and I were caught in traffic on I-95 for two hours, and this restaurant turned out to be a delightful oasis! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the music was fantastic. Parking was easy with plenty of space available. My kids really enjoyed the food and the lively atmosphere!
We love Skynard's bar and Restaurant. Fantastic Philly cheese steak sandwich Curly fries. . All their items are good on the menu. It does have a Biker/Redneck feel, but that's part of its appeal. We go there every time we get close. Hope this was helpful
It was a great experience, even better than I had anticipated. I initially wanted the flounder, but the woman suggested I consider something else. She presented it in such a nice way that I ended up ordering the wings instead!
We were seated right away on a Sunday at 5 PM. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was live music both indoors and outdoors. The restaurant offers seating options inside, outside, and in a covered outdoor area.
