Came to Slates today for lunch with my parents and three children, staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere, nice bit of Lionel Richie playing in the back ground! We had the carvery and it was delicious, all freshly cooked..gravy was amazing! Desserts were also v tasty and homemade. Would definitely recommend and will be back again :
Held my husband's surprise bday party here last night on one of the Christmas party nights..excellent time was had by all. The carvery was fantastic so much food and great quality, lovely staff, a bit of karaoke and good music. Would highly recommend their party nights to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Absolutely amazing we held a private charity evening here last night and our guests said the food was out of this world, thank you for making this a fantastic evening and such a perfect venue. The organisation and the staff were amazing and so so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Girls night out for Christmas excellent fun and well led, excellent carvery followed by home made pudding delicious then singing and dancing great night out, especially when you want just a bit more than a dinner.
