I live in Fairmount, so the decision when to go out is either Hemphill or Jasper. As I drove 3315 to 87, I decided to go to Slice Pizzeria in Hemphill hoping to have a steak. When I went to order a steak, Hannah informed me they were outso I decided to order the two deal pizza for $25. I order one sausage and mushroom to eat there and one meat lovers to go. I was charged $27 for the two pizza. I asked the waitress why I was charged $27 for the $25 special deal, she said it was tax. I pointed out tax was a separate line item, then she blew it off. It would had been appropriate to have the manager come out to explain at this point but not this time. My order took 50 minutes, notice others gett...
When I inquired about the extra charge for the $25 deal, the waitress explained it was due to tax. I pointed out that tax was already listed separately on the receipt, but she brushed off my concern. At that point, it would have been appropriate for the manager to come speak with me, but that didn't happen.
My order took an excruciating 50 minutes, during which I noticed other tables receiving their pizzas after I had placed my order. When my food finally arrived, both pizzas were boxed to go. I informed the waitress that I wanted to eat one there, and although she seemed unhappy, she reluctantly placed one on a pizza pan. When I checked the box, it contained the sausage and mushroom pizza....
The food is definitely excellent, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. However, I had a frustrating experience trying to place a takeout order over the phone. Once I was put on hold, I never expected to be forgotten. It was quite disappointing and felt unprofessional. I hung up and tried calling back, but all I got was a busy signal.
They mentioned that everything is made from scratch, including their dough. The Caesar salad was fantastic, and I can't stop raving about the pizza! I loved it and will definitely be returning.

It was amazing as always. The food is great and ambience never disappoints. A must visit if you are Sabine Parish or Sabine County.
A bit over priced but the place was very clean. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant.
Our first visit today! We will definitely be back! Fresh ingredients and staff was so helpful and kind!
