I have ordered from this place three times and each time has been a negative experience. I have ordered both delivery and take out and every time the order takes an hour or more to even be ready. On top of taking forever, my order has ALWAYS been wrong. The first pizza I ordered from them arrived with completely wrong toppings. Another day I didn't receive the correct flavor of wings or ranch that I paid extra for. The pizza each time was terrible and the toppings immediately fell off after the first bite. Hubby makes amazing homemade pizza at home, so it's not often that we order take-out pizza. After a long day on the lake, we were hungry and needed something quick and decided upon Social Pizzeria- we've been before but it had been almost a year. We were ordering a large pick-your-own toppings pizza, and were amazed to hear that all pizzas are buy one get one free- whaaa??! Apparently this is a special they run 365 days a year. So we ended up with 2 large pizzas for $16- pretty good deal. One pizza w/ ground sausage, bell pepper, and mushrooms; the other with chicken, spinach, and tomato. The crust was delicious but like another review mentioned, I would request it baked longer/crispier next...

The crust is great and heavy handed on toppings...the Social Pizzeria is the best pie you can get in Swannanoa! Owned by the same folks as the SOCIAL in East Asheville and they sure do make a terrific take-out/delivery pizza. Nowhere to sit unless you are waiting for a pick-up but if you live nearby or don 't mind reheating the pie when you get home this place is a home run! I suggest ordering it crispy unless you plan to re-heat at home anyway...the dough was just a touch to chewy for my taste but all things considered it didn 't matter since the sauce to cheese to toppings ratio were on point! If you are looking for a great pie in the area...I suggest calling one(or a few) in and swinging...

So we're camping at Mama Gertie's up the road, in rolls TS Nate and cancels my campfire steak dinner...who do you call? Have no fear, The Social Pizzeria comes through in a pinch. Ordered takeout online, picked up 25 minutes later. My receipt said order ready in 20 mins but it's raining cats and dogs and I got pizza quicker than I could build a fire and cook a steak in torrential rain, be happy. I dined at this restaurant twice during my stay at a nearby Airbnb. I will definitely make it a point to eat here whenever I am in the area. Their buy one, get one free pizza deal is unbeatable, and the pizzas are always freshly made to order with a wide selection of toppings and specialty options. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Make sure not to pass up the opportunity to dine here!

They recently took over Social Pizza, and it's just not the same anymore. I'm not sure what changes they made, but everything just isn't as good as it used to be. My phone order was messed up, and I received an undercooked, soggy crust pizza. As they say back home, it's not worth it anymore!

Amazing pizza and deals, the warhorse pizza and veggie pizza is out of this world, the staff are awesome I highly recommend this place if you want good pizza or wings plus they have the best deep fried Oreos

Steph's restaurant offers delicious pizza with a friendly atmosphere. Their Philly cheesesteak pizza is outstanding and even better than most Philly cheesesteaks in Asheville!
