Very high quality beer. Top quality gin and wine too. Best quality Tassie craft beer beer around at Society Salamanca. Last Rites , Moo Brew Pilsener, Little Rivers Hefeweizen and Hobart Brewing Company ale take a bow whoever brewed these fabulous beers. Seven Sheds' Smokey Porter and the two Captain Bligh pale ales both deserve honourable mentions. Helpful and friendly bar staff too. I would've loved to have these sorts of venues serving this quality of alcohol when I was in my twenties. Have had to wait until my sixth decade.

Adam and Ang were amazing!! My husband and I had a wonderful evening trying the Tasmanian Gin and Whisky tasting platers. It was so lovely to try Australian and Tasmanian produce and hear about how it is made and what makes it unique. The Tuesday Tapas are super tasty too. We went on to cocktails which were just as wonderful. Great ambiance, I can see why it was awarded best bar in Tasmania 2017. Would highly recommend it!!

What a wonderful spot! Rather than spend a day touring distilleries, hubby and I popped in to Society for whisky flights. We found tremendous service, knowledgeable staff, a cozy atmosphere, and an impressively extensive list (including half pours if you're in the mood to sample off the provided platters). We're only here for a week, but we'll be back in.

I really loved the gin we had, best I've ever had. Bar staff were fantastic really knew their jobs. Went back and had a mocktail (I was driving) wow really good!

Fabulous range of Tassie and Australian gins and they make their own tonic which is delish. The staff are very helpful too. Highly recommend this great bar
