Went with my husband last Saturday around 7:00pm. Asked how long was the wait and the guy at the desk said 15 minutes. There’s no room inside for waiting, just a small bench by the entrance, so we stepped outside to wait for them to call us. They were four or five people already waiting outside. We never saw or heard any employee calling people. We sat outside and waited for 45 minutes until we noticed no one else was there so decided to go inside and ask. We were told we were “next”. Sofia's Mediterranean Grill was an outstanding choice for our Mother's Day celebration. Despite our group unexpectedly growing from 6 to 8, the staff graciously accommodated us. My family and I ate at Sophia's for Mother's Day. Originally, we were a party of 6, but then we had unexpected guests arrive from out of town and Sophia's was kind enough to accommodate them without much notice! The service was impeccable! The food was sensational, very authentic and cooked to perfection. We were lucky enough to be served by Tony who was very attentive without being hovering. He was also funny, willing to take pictures for us and if you ask, he'll flex his muscles for you! The wait staff was friendly, everybody seemed happy to be there. I would recommend this restaurant highly, it was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time!
However, my overall enjoyment was marred by the owner's approach. After we had finished our main course, he asked us to leave our table to make room for a larger party. While he suggested that we could go next door for dessert, which is part of the same ownership, he did not offer to cover the dessert's cost as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused. This felt rather dismissive and took away from what had otherwise been a lovely evening.
In summary, while the food and service were praiseworthy, the way the owner managed this situation was disappointing.

By far, this restaurant offers the best food near Teterboro Airport. Everything is fresh and made to order, the service is excellent, and the management team is consistently on hand to ensure that every guest feels special. I've been dining here for the past four years and will continue to visit every time I'm in town.
The pitas were super stale and rubbery and the falafel was so dry and hard. The fries tasted frozen. Been there at least a dozen times before for take out and tonight was the worst food we have had. Maybe an off night but not ok for the price. I’ve had better cheaper falafel from street carts in NYC.
I've been here twice now and both times were pleasant and fantastic food. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and I haven't had a bad meal yet. Branzzino special was fantastic.
It's a little outdated but great food. Everything that came out of the kitchen was as if you were eating in Greece at a fine restaurant.
