Sommet - Reservar una mesa

A restaurant and a cafe. The restaurant was booked on a Friday night (everyone kept asking why we didn't book ahead . . . it was a special friday night burger deal think) but we were able to eat at the cafeteria. It was expensive (beet salad 12 SF; Cheese Platter 20 SF; but yoghurt and bananas cheap), but hey you are on top of a mountain, and can walk out and eat in the sunshine looking over all mountains and on our late afternoon even the lake. Memorable!

We booked the Friday night wine and tapas evening and it was great value CHF 20pp for the cable car to the top plus 3 wine tastes, and at this time of the year women can go for free at 18:10 or 18:40. The food was nice, but nothing special. The views are spectacular stick around and ask for a blanket so you can enjoy the sunset then gaze at the stars!

The spectacular view of a large part of the Alps and Lake Geneva from the top of Mt Moléson is worth the effort of walking up (easy hiking trail) or worth the ticket for the cable car funicular. Unfortunately, the restaurant offers fast food only (except for Swiss fondue): if you can, eat elsewhere.

If you love altitude and a view, you will like this place. The staff at the restaurant is really friendly and the food is great, we loved the Fondue with Vacherin (available for 2 persons)!

When we visited La Molesson halft of the meals were not available, but the meals we got were fine. Unfortunatelly the tastier ones are only served during the winter season.
