Before visiting this Sonic Drive-In I hadn't been to Sonic in more than ten years. I'm usually a five guys or whataburger kind of guy. I would have never dreamed that ten trips around the sun was far too long without the wonderful drive-in experience ofSonic and their delicious food options. My party and I opted to stop by just as a storm rolled into the area. The rain was hardbut the ordering screen was perfectly covered to allow for ease of use and dry mittens. Just before ordering, lightning struckwithin 100 feet behind our vehicle. An omen? A sign? We decided to push forward and place our orders. To our confusion, we wereunable to process gratuity while purchasing with a card, and later...
Horrible slush. I ordered a strawberry slush with xtra fruit. It came out unmixed only white ice and a few specks of strawberry. I told the car hop and he was like , oh it probably just didn?t get mixed right, and walked off. He didn?t even try to take itback. I called back inside and spoke to the manager I assume. She got me another. It was mixed and did look red this time butbarely had flavor and tasted watered down. I still didn?t see any extra fruit. This location needs to learn how to mix theirdrinks properly. Nobody wants a water slush!
Dear Sonic in Pelham, AL Why is your dining area closed on Thursday 12 noon? I don't eat in my vehicles, plus I had two kids with me who would have liked to sit down and have lunch. Are your workers just too rotten lazy to clean the dining area sothey just locked the doors to keep us out. Bad, bad business.
Sonic never disappoints. When I roll into a restaurant and park in one of the numbered bays, I assume to wait. I sit comfortably in my air-controlled vehicle. I don't have to worry about someone who's after me to get their food over a traditional drive-thru. I never had a bad experience here.
