My family visited for breakfast and were delighted with the food, atmosphere and service. The coffee was nice and strong and arrived quickly which was important on such a cold morning. The quality of the food and the variety for breakfast was impressive. I've moved past the "big breakfast" stage although my son found this option greatly to his liking . Lots of food with a couple of nice touches liked the BBQ'd corn. My daughter had a breaky bun which was a fantastic size for a smaller appetite. Were heading to Abacus on Chapel when we decided to try Speakeasy. It was so worth it. It was one of best breakfasts to date and that's saying a lot in Melbourne. Between the three of us we each had selected something different, eggs Benny, corn fritters and big breakfast. Not one disappointed, freaking delicious. Coffee was good, not great but I can overlook that for amazing food, plus the service was exceptional. If you don't go, that's on you!
Hubby and i visited for brekky.The atmosphere and styling was interesting and the food looked so enticing, however the food was bland. Hubby had a pancake and he said it was nice but way too sweet. Coffee was nice but not really hot so you had to drink it quickly or it would go could quickly. Certainly wasnt worth nearly $50.
Some super lovey friendly staff but coffees and brunch were exceptionally average. The coffee was fine but just wasn't at the standard you come to expect in inner city Melbourne. Menu and price weren't really reflective of the meals we received. The pictured meal is a $17 avocado on toast "with goji berries".

A nice place to for breakfast. A good menu, with generous servings. Bacon and eggs are always good, but there are super healthy options available. Decor is warm and inviting. A good place, particularly if you staying at Kiama Shores Motel.
As an allergy sufferer I often find it hard to make my requirements known. Nothing was too much trouble here. They even made my meal in a separate area of the kitchen. The food was very good. The cafe was warm on a cold day.
Food is great. Staff are friendly. They cater for all food requirements. Great vegetarian and vegan. Outdoor area is great in the sunshine and warm in the winter. Keep up the great work
I ordered the corn fritters with poached eggs. The fritters were cold and the egg whites were not cooked through. Awful. Will not be returning.

Excellent coffee and breakfast. Really helpful for direction and things to do around the city. Staff extremely friendly! A must to stop in
The prices here we thought was fairly reasonable and staff were a stand out as they were very helpful and friendly
