You would’ve thought I left a review for Spice due to literally being addicted to their food for years. As you can see, I took a photo of the dry pepper wings half devoured lmao ! I highly recommend this place and they have happy hour everyday but whenthey are closed (which is Sunday or holidays). The chicken wanton soup is my fav during the winter months. The vibe is alwaysgood and never experienced a problem with their hospitality. Literally can enjoy spice for any function including birthdaydinner, happy hour or just for a quick bite.
I could easily write a review for Spice based on my long-standing love for their food. Just look at this photo of their amazing dry pepper wings, which I almost finished (lol!). I definitely recommend visiting this place, especially since they have happy hour every day except Sundays and holidays. Their chicken wonton soup is a winter essential. The atmosphere is always fantastic, and I've never had any problems with the service. Spice is ideal for any occasion—be it a birthday dinner, happy hour, or just a quick meal.
We stumbled upon this restaurant when many others were fully booked. I didn’t realize they served Asian cuisine and ended up ordering the Wanton Soup, Dumpling Soup, and Satay. The Ginger Cosmopolitan cocktail was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Wanton Soup—it was truly enjoyable and set a high standard for what I expect from this dish. As for the satay, it didn't quite match my expectations, but it was still well-prepared. Overall, I would say this place is a hidden gem in Philadelphia.
Second time here and of course the food was just as good as I remember. The Peking duck buns are AMAZING. Although I wish you would get more than 2 in an order, it’s definitely worth the $7. We both ordered fried rice and you get a bang for your buck. The portions are fairly large and I had trouble finishing it! The pineapple fried rice was very good with the chicken as well. The chicken was so tender and juicy very good job on that! I will most definitely be coming back and for happy hour!

I really enjoy the happy hour at Spice 28—such great value for the price. The dishes come in generous portions and are very affordable. I’m a big fan of this place. I always find myself craving their Thai basil fried rice and drinking noodles, which are classic and delicious. The Pad Thai and curry are fantastic too, and their udon is definitely worth a try!
The waitress seemed somewhat unfriendly, but the service itself was quite good. Our group, which included four teenagers, their parents, and grandparents, may have been a bit of a challenge to accommodate since we struggled to make decisions. It’s worth noting that good service doesn’t always have to come with a smile.
The service at the restaurant was disappointing. The appetizer was served cold and only accompanied one entree, while the other entrees were delivered only after the first diner had begun eating. The staff did not offer any apologies for these errors.
The food and service here are fantastic! I've been longing for the shrimp fried rice since I left. I also really enjoy the lychee martini. I'll definitely share some photos during my next visit.

Excellent service and delicious food. They treat you and your family or friends with great respect. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the music playing adds to the experience. Shalom!
