The staff were friendly, but the food took a bit longer than expected to be ready. My wife ordered the shish tawook platter, while I tried the escalope (their fried chicken sandwich) and the Iraqi chicken shawarma sandwich. Recently I moved to Niles, and actually Im in love with anything from Iraq ?????????, I have to admit that the Iraqi kitchen surprised me, the meat and the way of how they cook it is something like art. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff arelike a family and very friendly people, the service is amazing. Update: After 8 months, I became a regular customer here, in myopinion this restaurant is the best mediterranean grill in Chicago so far, I?m not going extreme if I said there?s zero,literally zero comments? everything is amazing perfect.
We went for dinner on a weekday. The people who work there are so friendly and their hospitality is great. They have complimentary lentil soup at the beginning and it is so good. We ordered 3 meals. The portion of the meals was good more on thebig side. The food taste is great. The prices are reasonable for the quality they serve. They also have the tea table for freeyou can get as much as you want tea. I highly recommend this place and will visit again. ????
Got the lunch special, was charged $40 initially until I brought up the price on the menu $10. Was told lunch special wouldn't be as much food and would not get yellow rice nor soup. For $20 more (I ordered 2 lunch specials), I am fine not having yellowrice and soup. I also like seasoning and spices on food as well. Restroom was clean.

I?m always looking for some food Mediterranean food in the area and this for sure is in my favorite list!! Not sure how I?m only seeing this place now when they have been here for a few years but glad I came across it. The right amount of spice and all!Will definitely be coming back!????????
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The Quzi lamb was outstanding, and I enjoyed the meal thoroughly. The service was great, as well. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Quzi lamb!
Outstanding service. Amazing food. Wonderful ambiance. Order the Iraqi qouzi. They're so generous with the lamb and it's so tender that it slides off the bones. The lentil stew they give you is delicious. The salad refreshing. What a wonderful meal.
