Proper Breakfast!. I came here on Sunday 30/6/13 as we were going to go to Crabapple, yet with a line out the door and about 100 mothers and children inside it wasn't worth the wait or the effort.<br/ <br/ We walked across the road to Picasso's and yes this place looks really daggy, the booth seats look like they belong in an American Diner from another era and the menus were a bit tatty, yet the food was definitely great.<br/ <br/ So many places in Melbourne don't serve a proper English breakfast anymore, it's all Meredith Goats Cheese Feta, Chorizo....the usual posh nosh that costs a fortune.<br/ <br/ We had poached eggs, mushrooms, French toast hash brown and a side of bacon with 2 coffee...
While in Hawthorn and in need of a quick takeaway coffee, I stumbled upon Picasso's on Glenferrie Road and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. They had a tasty selection of cakes and pastries, so I opted for a moist and delicious carrot cake to accompany my coffee, which did not disappoint. The coffee was decent, with a good temperature and not too strong. Overall, not a bad spot for a quick coffee fix.
On Friday night, with an hour to spare in Hawthorn after work, my colleague and I decided to grab a burger and vanilla slice from Glenferrie Road. We had never been to Picasso's Cafe before and were pleasantly surprised to find a wide selection of freshly made food. We optimistically ordered two items and sat down to enjoy our meal together.
Great Food. I have to agree with a previous review you get great value at Picasso'sall l want is a breaky with everything without having to spend a fortune the service was great the staff very friendly and the coffee was also good my friend had pancakes which were also great we will be back !

Amazing and speedy service all the girls working were friendly and attentive. Had an amazing big breakfast which was huge! My friend had pancakes with berries and ice cream they were amazing too will defiantly be going back!!
I've been coming here for almost a year now and loved it every single time. Fantastic coffee and the food is just the right size for me and always tastes fresh! The staff are lovely and I can't wait to come back again
The food at this restaurant is incredibly tasty and straightforward! Their sandwiches are top-notch and the coffee is consistently excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and always up for a chat.
Great cafe on busy Glenferrie Road. I ordered the cinnamon and honey toasted granola with blueberry panna cotta and a coffee. The portion size was great and it tasted delicious.

Cute little place on Glenferrie Road, the food was great and the portions are very reasonable, great value for money. Staff are lovely and friendly. Will definitely return.
A very nice and cozy breakfast place, smashed avo was amazing and the portion size was good too. Orange juice.Highly recommend this place
