Not just an old school roasted spud with sour cream joint, Spudbar takes the humble spud to the next level, incorporating it into a oh-so-now healthy, filling meal. I ended up grabbing lunch here when next door's Lentil as Anything didn't process my order(!). My friends meals had bought their lunch their and l was enviable of their large bowls of colourful goodness, so l was pleased in the end to follow suit! The Moroccan chickpea and kale dish was superb, very tasty. Super healthy and easy on the hip pocket at $11.40 for a fair sized bowl of nutrients. Very attractive dish with cubed beetroot atop, you can choose between sweet potato or normal potato or both.
As I roamed the streets of Melbourne's CBD with a rumbling tummy looking for an easily identifiable gluten free lunch option I stumbled across Spud Bar. 100 percent Gluten Free! Coeliac heaven! And to top it off, it all tasted so good that I went back 3 days in a row to different outposts. Highly recommended as safe, healthy and scrumptious. Thank you Spud Bar for keeping me sane and helping me avoid a diet of corn thins and peanut butter (the emergency option that is always in my handbag).
Great healthy shop in St Kilda if you are after something different and tasty which is served up quickly and as a bonus is very healthy . There is a vast selection of different topping for your potato . You can even have sweet potato or half and half if you like . If you can't think of what to have one night and would like something with no fuss and very tasty this is the meal for you .
Visited with family for a quick bite to eat.This looks like a chain operation and they have set up where they have a choice of toppings for the spuds.In my case the spud was well cooked but the salad was dry and crunchy which affected my enjoyment. My son enjoyed his and he is a visitor on a fortnightly basis.Maybe worth another try....

Regular customer but new menu items with pasta an opportunity to put more greens and less pasta. quinoa also sparse.Disappointing made to a price not a recipe No napkins and girl found it difficult to issue receipt .Ps price seen made up as we have the sane items and the prices vary
Spud Bar is a chain that has popped up all over the city selling potato jackets with anything you want on top. The St Kilda spud bar staff are as friendly as all the others and very competent and efficient. Highly recommend for a healthy pitstop
Simple food but healthy and fresh, perfect for lunch !!! We tried greek style lamb and the chilli beans and salsa both were excellent, we will come back with pleasure to try the rest of the menu

Went to spud bar for lunch with friends. What a fantastic place for a great healthy meal. So many choices to put with your spuds.
I was disappointed that this place didn't live up to it's name.
