Stamps Restaurant - Reserva de mesa

We enjoyed a lovely evening at Stamps last week with a family group of 6. The menu is a bit on the traditional side, they are not pushing any boundaries here, but sometimes a bit of a twist on an old favourite is just what you are looking for! We had a choice of a 2 or 3 course special or full a la carte, and we all opted for a la carte. Some of us had entrees, all had mains and some had desserts. Everyone was very happy with their meals (my 5 spice pork belly followed by yogurt roasted lamb rump was excellent) and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. It's been years since I have been to Stamps and today was a pleasant surprise.Lunch could be al la cart or 2 course plus wine for $49.We were a table of 5 - 4 adults and one child 8 yrs old.We had the lamb rump, jerk chicken and the fish for mains. All meals were excellent delicious & yummy.Desert was also fantastic.It's great to experience a restaurant that served fantastic food good service at a very reasonable price!Well Done Stamps!

The frustration for those of us who truly find that coriander ruins a dish, is that a lot of restaurants not only add it to dishes you'd never expect it in, but then not list it.Stamps, please consider that given you have a very limited menu as it is, that you need to disclose an ingredient as polarising as coriander. It ruined what was meant to be a special meal and led me to leave my first Trip Advisor review ever.

Food excellent, tasty and unique. Small, almost intimate restaurant with old Australian heritage charm that hasn't been ruined by over the top modern renovations.A small menu which meant all courses were beautifully prepared, but not overly cheap.Would highly recommend for a special occasion, or just a wonderful night out with a great dining experience. We really enjoyed our visit here for Sunday breakfast. We were spoilt for choice with some interesting breakfast options. We chose the poached egg on asparagus, goats cheese and caramelised onion served with walnuts and lemon. Fantastic. Great service too. Definitely worth a visit on Sunday mornings.

Perfect for intimate celebration for 2... Ambiance is quiet and warm Staff are friendly and oh so polite with smiles Food was cooked to perfection and presented flawlessly in our opinion There is something for everyone here

Loved stamps as always on our visit this month. Mid week and very busy. Just didn't feel that real attention and warmth with service. Beautifully executed meals so we will return.

Stamps never failsIt's tucked away in the old part of Mitcham - it's a blink and you might miss it place hidden under a leafy verandah.

Stamps has to be one of the most boutique restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating at.
