If i could give more stars I would. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. We've eaten there numerous times in large groups, and the food and service has always been exceptional. It's BYO alcohol so no paying £5 for a small bottle of Becks. The staff have always super friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing. Well done to all involved with the Spice Village, you're showing how it can and should be done. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in
The food was overcooked and the vegetable curry side was not appetizing. I'm not sure if they were rushed with a big order for 7 people, but this experience has turned me off from curries possibly forever. I miss Lazzats, who used to serve quality Indian food instead of overcooked meat and slop. Overall, the dinner experience was not great. Price per person ranged from £70–80. Food quality was rated a 1, service a 2, and atmosphere a 3.
First time visitor and obviously didn't know what to expect! Very busy inside and seemed to be serving plenty of take aways! My Sag Chicken was really good and Peshwari Naan was lovely and fresh. My dining party also rated their food and quantity as excellent. Recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The meal was a dinner, and the price per person ranged from £20 to £30. The food here was exceptional! Grilled lamb chops were tender and flavoured perfectly. Lamb biryani had the perfect level of spice and one of the best I've had. Thank you Spice Village Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
