Starving Artist Cafe Gallery Incorporated

Just three houses off the intersection of New Hyde Park Road and Tulip Avenue is the Starving Artists Cafe. Spring abounds in every cozy corner, and no matter where you gaze there are bunnies, eggs, flowers, and pastel colors. This is such a festive space I felt a little like this must be a set for Alice in Wonderland. Artisan featured works surround you. They have a great menu that includes daily specials, paninis, wraps, flatbreads, burgers, salads, sides, appetizers, soup, and desserts. Today we ordered the Turkey Panini and Cobb Salad. I have had two very enjoyable experiences at this restaurant. The service is helpful, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The cafe has an artist theme and is decorated with quirky and interesting items. There is even a small gallery inside. You can choose to sit at a dining table or on a comfortable couch. The menu has a great variety of options, and everything I have tried so far has been delicious. An added bonus is that they offer wine, beer, and brunch drink options. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning again soon!

This charming brunch and lunch spot is a must-visit! I highly recommend stopping by with friends or family. The atmosphere is cozy, with vegan options available. The cafe is adorned with plenty of artwork and photographs, creating a visually appealing space. The food and wine selection are excellent, and I imagine their desserts are just as delicious. Live music adds to the overall ambiance.

Have been here countless times and have decided it's time to share how great this place is. Service is always exceptional and staff is very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere here is inviting and cozy. They have a nice selection of teas and coffees to choose from and offer dairy free milk options. Try their crispy fries and veggie wraps! Mouthwatering food, cozy environment, and very festive! We went a week before halloween, you can see how cool the decorations were!! Only downside was how slow our waitress was. Older lady, spanish decent. Waited 20 minutes after finishing our meal to get the check. But the other servers were timely Would definitely return!

Such a cute place! Really great for a cute date with your friends or significant other. Our waiter was so capable friendly. There’s a few vegan options: they have almond milk, a good amount of dinner options, all the coffee flavors are vegan! I will definitley be going back there w my boo

I loved this Cafe from the way it looks, to the food. I had a chicken pesto panini (which highly recommend). My partner had a salad. The food was delicious, the service was great. The atmosphere was lovely. I would definitely good back over and over again.

Pretty and homely Christmas decor with good and simple food. We had the burger and a buffalo wrap. For dessert it was the brownie sundae The food was decent but nothing to rave about. It's definitely a nice place to hangout with friends though. Reserva una mesa ahora

This small breakfast place is charming and has a cafe with art. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The brown sugar bacon was amazing.
