I've driven past this restaurant weekly for over ten years without ever giving it a second thought, mainly because of its location next to a rather questionable motel. But when someone recommended it to me, I initially thought they were joking. However, I urge you to just go! Don't let the surroundings deter you! I finally decided to check it out with friends last night, and wow! The food was absolutely delicious, and Sam provided wonderfully attentive service. We had a fantastic time soaking in the nostalgic atmosphere. This place has a very dedicated following, and they just gained six more fans! We haven't stopped talking about the quality of the food since our visit, and I can't wait to...
This place is utterly perplexing, like stepping into a wonderfully bizarre fever dream. As you pull into the parking lot, you notice that the restaurant is connected to what can best be described as a somewhat dubious motel, filled with all sorts of interesting characters. Initially, you might feel a bit uneasy... But once you enter Steak 38, you're instantly transported to a charming 1950s steakhouse that offers delicious food, fantastic drinks, and superb customer service. With Sam's entertaining stories and singing, the impressive tableside Caesar salad preparation, and the incredible steaks served with all the fixings... STEAK 38 IS A WINNER!
Definitely check this place out! My husband and I have been wanting to try Steak 38 for years, and we’re so glad we finally did. We made a reservation for Saturday night, which turned out to be a great decision. We ordered the steak for two, and our server, Dan, was fantastic. We were too busy enjoying our meal to take any pictures of the Caesar salad, steak, sides, or the delicious bananas foster. After our meal, we had a drink (or two!) at the bar, and Robbie (sp?) was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant—you’re in for a delicious and enjoyable evening!
We had an absolutely fantastic dinner and dessert at Steak 38! Samuel was an incredible server; we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. We were celebrating a birthday, and he truly made the evening special. The steaks were delicious, and the clams linguine was packed with clams. We also enjoyed the zucchini fries and bacon-wrapped scallops, both of which were superb. For dessert, we indulged in butter cake, chocolate lava cake, and bananas foster, and everything was amazing! When you arrive at Steak 38, the valet staff recognizes you, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, even if it's your first visit in a while. Once inside, the hostess greets you with genuine friendliness. The owner, Jerry, and the chef, Danielle, exude professionalism. Big Joe and the rest of the waitstaff are attentive and ready to help. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to everyone; the drinks and food are absolutely fantastic!
This restaurant is simply incredible. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the drinks are excellent. Be sure to ask for Sam—his southern charm really enhances the dining experience, especially when he sings! I give it a perfect score: 10/10 for food, service, and atmosphere.
