This used to be a restaurant that I frequented. The food used to be really nice. Recently, ownership changed. I'm sad to say, for the worst. I'm vegetarian, so there aren't a ton of choices, but the veggie Philly was my go-to. Since new ownership, the prices have risen. That wouldn't be an issue, if it made sense. Under the new ownership, one is now charged extra for cheese and grilled onions/peppers! Since when is that not standard for a Philly cheese sandwich?! This is outlandish and down right, price gouging! Not to mention that the sandwich was soggy and had, so many green and red peppers that it was nearly inedible. Total waste of $15+ for a combo, with no meat.
I had an incredible experience from the moment I entered this restaurant. The cashier was friendly, greeted me warmly, and was very polite. The food was served hot and fresh, and it tasted amazing! The fries were cooked perfectly. I observed the cashier patiently and kindly attend to several customers, including some with complicated orders. I really appreciate this place and will definitely be returning. They offer plenty of vegetarian options, and it's also kid-friendly with ample parking and wheelchair accessibility. There are also lots of options for those with dietary restrictions.
I’m only giving a 2 because the food was awesome. So y’all keep doing what you’re doing there. On the other hand, the female manger working this evening 06/10/22 was extremely rude. I called because both of my drinks were not delivered. I wanted a refund. I was told I could not have a refund and she would not send her delivery driver to drop the drinks off without getting paid for it. What?? What kind of business is that? I don’t live here and was excited to try the place. I am at the hotel aloft which is 1.4 miles or 5 min away… hope y’all fix who you have managing your business.
We got screwed over by American Airlines with a canceled flight so they put us up overnight in a local motel. We were tired and ordered takeout from Steakway. It was awesome! The cheesesteaks were loaded with meat and the order was delivered promptly by the Steakway's manager.I think there are too many old reviews of this place and it has changed ownership/management recently. We also enjoyed the loaded baked potatoes and salads. Give this place a try, I think you will like it. My tip is to add extra cheese to your cheesesteak!!

I’ve eaten here plenty of times before but we hadn’t been back in a while. Everything was changed on the inside, no machine with drinks to choose from. My hud and ordered me sirloin tips and fries and although it was well done, it was dry dry!! Chewy and not the fries are definitely different from what they used to be. The new fries are oily and quite salty too. Kinda disappointed that the quality of food has went down…maybe I’ll give them another chance in the future.
I tried Steakway for the first time and ordered the 12oz Ribeye cooked medium rare online for takeout. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. They also included the sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, and shrimp that I ordered on top of the steak, allowing the flavors to blend nicely as I transported it home. This has become one of my new favorite restaurants.
We ordered take-out from Steakway and it was awesome!We had two Philly cheese steaks and fries. The best Philly cheese Steak in DFW area I highly recommend this place to everyone who likes to eat great food from clean restaurant from steak to shrimp. Amazing food and great service! Will be definitely come back soon.
The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning for the steakhouse hoagie. The seating and atmosphere may be simple, but the quality of the food makes the visit well worth it.
