Takeaway pizza and pasta: My pizza before the menu update was so bad I was reluctant to go back (I did ring and question the quality of the product but was told that the menu had changed and that was the way it was . I like a prawn pizza (apologies to those who hate seafood on pizzas! and the changed pizza menu (first change meant that the prawns were cut into such small pieces that when it was put into the oven to cook the dough the prawn turned into tough, tastleless bits the size of a baby 's fingernail. We ordered a caprese salad and pear salad for entrees. Both were fine and large servings, although some of the tomato was a little mushy. For mains we ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and Baked Eggplant. The Eggplant arrived cold and had to be sent back for reheating. To their credit they made a new one rather than reheating the original one but that of course meant I had finished my main before my wifes arrived. She sat and watched whilst I ate and then I sat and watched whilst she ate. My Spag Bol was okay but was very basic and really no better than the frozen ones I buy from the supermarket. The ambiance, friendliness, and service were all top-notch at this restaurant. The highlight of our experience was the delicious meal we enjoyed. From zucchini flowers with four cheeses to oysters with champagne mignonette and finger lime, every dish was divine. The spatchcock oven-baked with salame, Sicilian olives, white wine, garlic, chilli rosemary, and twice-cooked duck fat potatoes friarielli was a standout, as was the barramundi with celeriac mash. this evening with the children as a conclusion of the holiday agreement. service was great, personal was great, but more important was eating delicious! children have calamari and frit, teen had meat lovers pizza and I had the lamb. highly recommended the melt in mouth lamb, so good! 10/10 alone. the children have cut off with a Nutella pizza, they were something above the moon! wellted, I couldn't have affogato, but I'm back as soon as their license is safe! thanks young, great end of the holiday

This restaurant review is awful. I am Italian and used to frequent Stella Blue often, but after last night, I will never go back again! I ordered the seafood spaghetti with clams (Vongole), but the seafood was completely spoiled and made me sick all night! This is unacceptable for an Italian restaurant, especially considering the high prices. The quality of the seafood was terrible and not worth the cost at all!
Sometime between New Years Eve 22/23 and last Saturday night someone lost the plot?? Service was good. Food was really average and didn 't they put the boot in on the prices. This is meant to be a local eatery for people to frequent regularly. It 's pricing alone is out of most people 's reach. Good luck. We won 't be back.
Refreshing and delicious is the only way to describe our dinner. We arrived at 5.30, still within the COVIDSafe social distancing. The service first rate and friendly and we almost had the restaurant to ourselves. Within an hour it was buzzing! We are so grateful to have such a high class restaurant in our local area.
Very disappointed with the veal it was thin tough and over cooked. Staff did a good job very noisy some people moved tables to get outside and away from the noise. It was much better 12 months ago we gave it a try but not again

Great service from the owner, food of highest quality, served professionally and children catered for. A real treat. Wines: you can bring your own but we enjoyed a bottle of Shiraz from the menu which was excellent.
