I'm not quite sure what went wrong during our visit, but our food arrived cold, and we had to return it. When it came back to our table, it was still cold. Don't get me wrong; the food here is usually excellent—I just don't understand what happened today. However, I have to commend the outstanding customer service, which really turned things around. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The gentleman who took our order made some excellent suggestions, and all the servers were very polite. They seemed genuinely concerned about our cold food, but unfortunately, it still wasn't warm when it was served again.
I’m not sure what happened with the food during my visit. It arrived cold, and we had to send it back. Unfortunately, when it came back, it was still cold. Normally, the food here is quite good, so I'm not exactly sure what went wrong this time. However, I must say that the exceptional customer service saved the day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The cashier who took our order made some excellent recommendations, and all the servers were very accommodating. They seemed genuinely concerned that our food was cold, but sadly, it remained that way.
The Tri-Tip was so good, it was gone before I could even remember to take a picture. The place had a ton of employees but almost all of them were behind the counters assisting the kitchen. It was a bit surprising to see basic utensils and things like boxes missing or not where they were supposed to be, especially considering how large the team was that morning. Overall, I was happy I chose Stonefire that day.
Stonefire has always had great food and service, even when it's busy they'll find a table for you while you order. Their salads are the best, especially the South of the Border. I still haven't found a place that offers a better salad. The meats are as good as they look and their pizza is one of the best around, especially when it's fresh. The experience was underwhelming for the price. The chopped salad with tri-tip could have been enjoyable, but the meat was mostly gristle and inedible. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to return here. On a positive note, the waitstaff was exceptional. They were gracious and very helpful.
Tables and floor were dirty. I had to wipe down my own table and seats with a few napkins from my purse. The only reason I gave it three stars is bc the food was pretty good but the food is extremely over priced! I wouldn't go back but my friend wants me to try their pizza. We'll see?!
