Mein Freund und ich haben übers Wochenende eine Übernachtung im Hotel Strauss gebucht. Als wir beim Hotel ankamen, war das Hotel leider geschlossen und wir stellten fest, dass wir ein Fehler bei der Buchung gemacht hatten. Margrit und Yves Strauss haben uns trotzdem sehr herzlich aufgenommen und uns ein Zimmer bereit gemacht, obwohl das Hotel noch geschlossen war. Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme Nacht im Hotel Strauss und fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Frau Strauss hat uns am Morgen sogar noch Kaffee gemacht, obwohl es Sonntag und das Hotel eigentlich geschlossen war. Die Gastfreundschaft war top! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei! We were allowed to be pampered by the attentive and friendly and competent host couple Yves Magrith for a whole week... an extremely creative and delicious half-board surprise menu every evening... simply brilliant in all respects! The menu leaves nothing to be desired with ingenious combinations...! Fresh tasty! Very good wine list with lots of things you simply have to treat yourself to. Beautiful, very clean and classy rooms. Fine breakfast with everything you need. Good, central location and short distances to the trains. ...the best that can be found in Dachen gastronomy in Fiesch and the surrounding area, thank you very much, always with pleasure!
We enjoyed a delicious surprise menu for 2 people, with great sophistication, differentiated flavors and aesthetic presentation, a real treat! Starting with the goose liver crème brûlée, an ultra-tender tartare, a quail breast flavored with vine smoke on eggplant, lamb fillet and beef ragout and ending with the passion fruit crème brûlée: everything was very delicious and made us happy! Familiengeführtes Hotel mit anliegendem Restaurant. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und alles ist sauber. Der Bahnhof und die Luftseilbahn sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Auch wenn das Restaurant leider geschlossen hatte, hat es uns beim Frühstück an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.
