While good help can be hard to find, it’s not impossible—but the staff here seem unaware that customers are the reason they get paid. Without customers, there’s no business and no paycheck. When I arrived, three employees were off to the side and then all went to the back. Two returned from a break, but only one washed their hands before going back. I was looking forward to dining at this Subway, but my experience took a turn for the worse. The only employee on duty became noticeably irritated when I asked for a senior citizen discount. She told me they didn’t offer that, and when I mentioned that I receive discounts at other places due to my fixed income, she became argumentative and insisted not everyone has that benefit. As an adult, I shouldn't have to defend my situation. Because of this unpleasant interaction, I will not be returning to this location. This is a great restaurant with a diverse selection of options, all at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and extremely efficient. I tried the tuna sandwich, and it was tasty—I would highly recommend it! The only downside is that they don't have a restroom. However, if you order a combo, you can take advantage of a discount.
