First and last time eating here. Most places give you too much food, and Sugar Fire went to the other end. The pulled pork I could've fit in the palm of my hand without it hanging over the sides, the turkey was a single thin slice, the cole slaw was a nice portion size as was the potatoes salad. The BBQ sauces I found to be on the mild side, I tried what was supposed to be a hot and spicy sauce, which I thought was a bit mild, barely any tingle. I'm used to something that makes me sweat when I eat it, lol. Overall the food tasted good but the ordering/serving style and the placing food on a thin sheet of paper that tore as soon as I sliced the turkey up kinda negated the whole point of a pap...
Have been there several times to give it a fair go because my wife likes the turkey dumplings. With the understanding of how smoking meat works and the variables...the brisket is never consistent, Ribs guaranteed to be dry. Only thing I have consistently good is the Sausage and Mac n cheese. If the pit masters could put out good brisket and ribs daily then it would be a great place instead of just meh...before the owner comes at me...I get it that stuff happens but people come back for consistency. If I don't smoke my own stuff I use Dexter or y'all's place...Dexter gets it...their food is the same every single time. If sugarfires meat was top notch every time like the sides...it would be EX...
Alpha-Gal friendly. I let them know my daughter has AGS , alpha-gal syndrome, and the Mgr came around front . He told me that they'll fix hers in the back with a smoked turkey that had not touched any prep areas. Almost all sides are AGS friendly. STAY AWAY FROM BAKED BEANS AND GREEN BEANS. As always, use due diligence and ask questions for peace of mind. They also have smoked salmon. Everything is preped in-house, not shipped in already made . Enjoy, their awesome ! Ordered 10 oz of brisket when I arrived I was told they were almost out and that it was a little fatty but that she added a lil extra to make up the difference however when I got home with my order i come to realize I was charged over $20 for a plate of fat there may have been 20% that was meat and the fries were soggy enough I could write with them. By far a terrible experience I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The French fries tasted like they were refried leftovers, and there were burnt spots that made them unappetizing. Furthermore, the meat was not sliced correctly; it was simply served as a large chunk. The manager at the Farmington location really needs to improve their skills in preparing a proper sandwich and cooking in general.
Sugarfire Barbecue delivers a phenomenal dining experience! The brisket cheese steak was truly awesome—tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is lively, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommended! PROTIP. Turn right after you enter the front door.
Went for the first time July 11. Food was amazing. Service was exceptional. They worked with us with gluten free options. Would definitely recommend.
