Sugo - Reserva de mesa

Have looked at this place while I have waited at the traffic lights a few times and thought let us give it a try. Only opens at 8am which might be appropriate for the area. Staff are excellent and unobtrusive and food plentiful and tasty.Suggestion I would make is to update the decor, it is really dated. Also, same comment about the menu it needs to be revitalised. A visit to some other restaurants nearby would quickly help and changes should not be hard to make in terms of an update. They have the right staff though, friendly and attentive.

This is the third time I've tried sugo and always the same...food is good but the service terrible. Mains came out reasonable quickly but as soon as the food hits the table the wait staff seem to become extinct. Reasonable quiet sat afternoon but Sat with empty glasses for ages, had to request dessert menus but no one came back. On a girls lunch so would of ordered more wine, dessert and coffee. Ended up leaving and going down the road to get these.

The food here is really good with a good selection of wine on offer and a varied menu. Great atmosphere and ambience. The thing that really let's this place down is the service, it was very quiet today yet the service was bad. No one asked us if we wanted more wine and we sat for 25 minutes with the dessert menu then just gave up. Come here for good food and wine if you can get past the terrible customer service. The 3 stars was for the food.

Have been to Sugo many times since it opened but these were underwhelming experiences however last Sunday evenings meal was delicious and generous. The servings of risotto were large and very filling whilst some of us had salads which were also tasty and good. The mixed platter of entrees was a good mix of what was to offer and paired with a good red we all had an enjoyable evening. Good to see an improvement. Reserva una mesa ahora

Enjoyable pizza and pasta restaurant. Good quality food and terrific service. Gets a bit noisy when the place is full but a great place for a mid-winter dinner. Online booking tool works really well too.

Drink mixer needs some lessons. Food was ok and servings were very large. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant and across the road in Malvern Central.

Margarita Pizza was tiny and bland. No tomato base or anything. Pasta was extremely oily and bland. For these prices I expected a lot, lot better. Reserva una mesa ahora

Sugo has pretty good food, but the rest of the dining experience was lacking The small plates are fun for sharing, and have a decent range.

Tuesday 21st March Opposite Malvern Central is Sugo Italian, with 'Sugo' meaning the basic tomato sauce in pasta.
