Surprised that it was not as wonderful as I had thought it would be. Excellent service along with an updated, stylish but informal atmosphere, were promising. The food, however, was very good but not great. Had the crispy confit duck tacos as an app where the highlight was the masa taco itself. The confit duck, mole, and slaw were fatty and/or not so flavorful (but the sliced peach “salsa” was excellent).My honey had the chilled asparagus soup which was totally underwhelming. Our shared Caesar salad was a high point and while the brioche popover was excellent the other Italian mini-bread rolls weren't. Received a call the day before to confirm my reservation and the special requests that I had made 2 vegan menus and that this was a birthday celebration), upon arrival we had to verify again the special requests. We were taken to a table with 4 place settings and they asked if they could clear the extra setting? We never asked for or stated there would be 4 in our party. Seems kind of like Denny's. The waiter was receptive and paid attention to orders of the table by informing or asking if we wanted gluten free or vegan. My son ordered off the kids menu and it was simply mac and cheese, no vegetable. We ordered the $14 dollar hand cut fries and I couldn't believe that I found multiple fries...

We got the tasting menu on Thursday Aug 8 and I think that was probably where we went wrong. It ended up being an over $500 meal with two cocktails and it was definitely not worth it. The seafood was not fresh. I actually couldn't eat anymore of it. The service was great and the staff was lovely which is why I'm rating it so high. Just don't do the tasting menu and you might be fine.

First, the Summit restaurant itself is quite elegant. We found the menu very creative, especially the small plates. I ordered duck confit tostadas that were delicious. My husband loved the asparagus soup. The service was also excellent. Our waitress checked on us several times, and kept our water glasses filled. I highly recommend this estaurant.

Our server forgot to order one of the sides we ordered. When he realized his mistake, we were practically done with our meals and were no longer interested in the food. Even with this poor service, we were still forced to pay their 20% gratuity (food wine). I always thought a gratuity was paid to reward good service. Apparently not here....

A bit snooty which spoiled the experience some. Service was outstanding. The byaldi with the lamb was nearly raw and unappealing. The lamb chops were good but served rare rather than medium rare. The tenderloin was excellent as was the sauce, foie gras, and potatoes.

Incredibly loud and hard to hear. Waited a long time to order, for courses, for check etc. beyond the normal, new slow cadence to a dinner. Everyone was yawning at the table for awhile and we had to track down waitress twice. Perhaps they're understaffed?

The only negative thing I can report is that service was too quick. Our entrees arrived before our bottle of wine. The corn puree that came with the expertly prepared bass, was cold. Otherwise, beautifully prepared food and an inventive menu!

Waiters and staff were great. The food was excellent. The table across from was extremely loud. We think a couple next to us actually moved to another table mid meal due to the excessive noise.

The valet service is now available at the restaurant's front door. This makes it so much easier than dealing with the difficult machines at the nearby underground parking garage..
