This hotel is what you would imagine or what you would see in movies when you think of a lux hotel. It just has that WOW appeal. The grounds were beautifully kept and quite grand. There is no shortage of instagram worthy spots throughout the hotel. Their Christmas decorations made everything feel extra magical too. Top this off with the exceptional and personal service provided to you as soon as you arrive. My daughter rightly commented, Mom, they just swept us into the hotel. Staff made sure you knew you were their top priority. Our room was large and offered views of the mountains. Room service would come twice a day to provide water, ice, chocolates and restock any supplies you may need....
Holiday traditions vary widely by family, but no matter how your fam chooses to celebrate Christmas, you 've probably become rather attached to the traditions that you 've established. A new family Christmas tradition that we 've just begun (and hope to continue) is visiting the iconic Broadmoor Hotel in The Springs during this time of year. If you 're able to get here soon you might still be able to enjoy their Gingerbread Lightning Bug creation which, amongst other ingredients, contains 958 pounds of powdered sugar and required approximately 308 Elf Hours to complete. For risk of being placed on Santa 's naughty list, I cannot tell a lie. Therefore, I confess that I have absolutely no idea...
Early reservation at 5:30. Seated at table for four at sidewall but worked well as we both sat next to each other and had great view of restaurant. Drew was the server and did a great job with recommendations. Had the lamb chops that were delicious. My wife had the artichoke cannolis. A little dry but tasty. Enjoyable evening dinner.
Classic 5 star hotel experience at 5 star prices $22 cocktails etc but that's what you expect so not a problem. Walking the lake, grabbing some bites, really nice. I don't feel the need to do it again but glad we did. Do the falcon experience!! That is amazing and memorable.
