Sun R Restaurant 2013

Wow there is not much to eat in this town! Got a large take out container for two from the buffet. Found the order menu to be super expensive. Filled the large container as best I could big signs say $5 extra charge for...overfilled containers whatever that means . They didn't seem to check once I left. $22. Food was ok they were brining out lots of hot food and refilling a lot. The only thing is there were no signs telling what things were. There was mystery meat in yellow sauce, mystery meat in red sauce , mystery meat in brown sauce....... etc. Chow mien was not up to my regular standard. Veggies were good. Fried rice bland. Prawns pretty battery but hot. All in all it's mall food court q...

just to save yourself a headache before they sit down a look at the buffet that we were over 50% of the bins empty we already had down and order a drink before we had to eat something big...Missage we sat and eat over 1/2 hour what was available, but there was still tablet that had nothing in them overpriced think for what they are made out of personal, yes I have been out of personal, yes

I understand a place that advertises buffet in the evening, but after them they can still order from the menu. in the 5 years we are not even able to query the menu here. they tell us because we command to pick up and keep the buffet that we would have up to a bours waiting for menu points. the buffet is so, and the price is very expensive. we will not eat here again.

We tried some take-out from Sun R...it was very good, hot delicious. It was freshly made, not dished out from the buffet (heard good reports that the buffet is local favourite). The flavours of the dishes (sweet sour pork, ginger beef) were distinctive ...satisfying. We definitely would eat here again when we pass through Creston!!!

The food is really awesome good! If you don’t like spicy make sure you read in the menu before you order (some people just can’t read lol) order for my whole family and they asking me to order again. Make sure you try BBQ pork chow main.! I really recommend it.

Its a small town Chinese restaurant with table cloths and a small buffet with very fresh local vegetables, don't expect a huge supply on the menu like Calgary or Vancouver, you wont be disappointed. Come early because this parking lot is always full.

It's OK food. like fast food. You have to time your eating as to when you see the waitress fill an item on the buffet. If you have lots of time, you will get all the items on the buffet Very friendly staff. Parking...is great.

I'm sorry, but when the restaurant has 5 people in it including you and your dinner partner and you've already waited 30+ minutes for food but a local couple walks in after you and gets served in under 10 minutes? Yeah, no.

if they want to spend 12 for rice. 100 for 4 people take them out, is laborious. that was hot. there are the only chineses to be able to calculate what they want. you will pay!

Some of the best Chinese food we have ever had!!! Ginger beef is amazing as well as the honey garlic pork. It is not on the menu but they will make it for you if you ask.
