During our weekend trip to Irvine, my daughter suggested sushi for dinner. I decided to look for all-you-can-eat options with good reviews, and this place had the highest ratings. I made a reservation from our hotel room, which turned out to be a good decision. Despite the wait of almost an hour from our arrival at 6:50pm, we were not seated until around 7:45pm or even 8pm. However, those without reservations had even longer waits. Despite the wait, we were really hungry and relieved when we finally got seated. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.
I would give it 5 stars since I go almost every month and never had a problem. This time I went with my 3 kids (3,7,9) and husband, they have a promotion if you reserve and it's 5 or more you get 50% off an adult priced. When I got my bill I paid and didn't realize till I got home that they charged me 4 adults and one child (kids 8 and under pay 22.50 and my 3 yr old 11.50) well they charged my 7 yr old as an adult for some reason but my husband didn't want to make a fuss about it and we didn't go back. My point been the waiter was told my kids age and I was still charged wrong.
I recently dined at a sushi restaurant that offered an all-you-can-eat experience. The food quality was commendable, although not outstanding, and the variety of sushi was impressive. However, the service left much to be desired; it could have been more attentive. Despite this, I would rate my overall experience 4 out of 5 stars. If you're looking for a decent all-you-can-eat sushi option, this place is worth a visit, but don't expect perfection in every aspect.
Your eyes get real wide when you can order 10 pieces of nigiri per person each round. The quality of the fish was good and appreciated how each piece didn’t have too much rice. Although the rice recipe wasn’t sticky enough or as special as sushi rice. Regardless, reserving on Open Table was easy and table was available on time. Service was fantastic and food arrived to table quickly. Parking quite limited during busy time and shares a lot with The Habit.

The restaurant had small booths and was filled to capacity, so be prepared to feel cramped. I visited at 8:30 on a Saturday, so they were likely very busy. The service was not very attentive, possibly due to new staff working that night. The food was decent for an all-you-can-eat option, and they even had all-you-can-eat bluefin. Despite the high traffic, the restaurant was fairly clean.
Finally an awesome ayce sushi spot! Jacob was the best server. He took care of us and made great suggestions on what to try out. 5 stars for Jacob's service and the food choices. Recommend getting on the wait list early cause it's a long wait, however definitely worth it!
I have to remind them twice about the birthday First to host and she said she will let the server know Nothing happened so I reminded the server again after we payed So it was not a surprise to the my wife
This is my preferred sushi restaurant. The fish is always fresh, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. I often suggest it to my friends.

Making and modifying reservations was a breeze. We got there and we're seated immediately. Service was fast. Food was great.
We always enjoy our visits to Sushi Damu. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is consistently delicious!
