Unfortunately after eating here many times I will not be returning. We usually do delivery but this time dined in. The space was dirty: cobwebs hanging off the fake cherry blossom tree, wet floor I almost slipped, bathroom incredibly dirty and table taped together. Our wine had chunks in it so we had to get our server to take it back and although it was refreshed it was room temp (not ideal for white wine). One of the rolls we ordered, which we usually get, was overloaded with sauce and inedible. We were told because we ordered it, even though we did not eat it we will have to pay for it. There was zero compensation, our server asked her manager multiple times for compensation and was denied...
I’ve tried very many sushi restaurants in Winnipeg but Sushi Hon is still the best. The sushi is always fresh, the staff are always friendly and prompt, and the prices are reasonable. After having Sushi Hon I see no need to try any more sushi places. Love many of their sushi rolls, chicken yakisoba, chicken teriyaki, miso soup and their green tea is great too.
One staff member to seat and look after all customers and package and manage the non-stop food delivery orders is too much. Props to this staff member for keeping their composure, providing the best service she could and not slamming their head in the door.The quality of the sushi is still second to none.
Had an enjoyable snack right before close last night. The staff were very accommodating, they forgot 1 of the items we ordered but it's not a big deal. Food was good but not the best sushi I've had in Winnipeg. The Volcano was a little too soupy but over the experience was good for an evening snack.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn't full but service was really slow probably because of delivery and take out orders. The servers were nice and friendly. The food was pretty good as well we ordered a party platter. I would recommend the sexy salmon roll and the tiger roll.
Sushi connoisseur here. Been to probably almost every sushi joint in WPG.This place…. Speechless!! Reasonable prices FRESH FRESH FRESH kind staff music choice on point great ambiance.Definitely just did a massive pig out and boy am I satisfied!!
I hate trying new sushi places because I rarely have good luck but this place was great. I can recommend it for sure. Everything was good and fresh. Service was good and all the food was on time. It is worth trying out, give it a shot.
Stopped by for a quick late lunch. The restaurant is larger than it appears from the store front. Had the seafood tempura Udon. Tasted great and had quality ingredients. The server was friendly. Will stop by again to try the sushi.

I always love the food here. The Chicken Yakisoba is delicious. I get Tuna Bakudan every time I get sushi and theirs is one of the best. Atmosphere is not spectacular but food and service is very good.
OMG....love this place...prices are so reasonable.. quality of food is second to none..The best place to go for price, quality and atmosphere..
