My sister in laws made plans to have dinner here so I called ahead of time to ask about the gluten free options since I have celiac. I was told that as long as I let the server know, they would disinfect and make my food in clean pans so that it wouldn't have cross contamination. When I arrived, I let the server know I have celiac. She told me that the pizza wasn't safe because it's made in the same pan so then I ordered a panini. She came back and said the panini press is used with regular bread so that wasn't safe either. She said that she could do a charcuterie board with gluten free crackers and that would be safest to avoid cross contamination. The board had different cheeses, candied n...

Unfortunately, this restaurant falls into the realm of typical mediocrity found in Park Ridge. The quality, service, and atmosphere need significant improvement, especially given the prices they charge. For what I spent, I could have enjoyed a delicious, satisfying dinner with craft cocktails at almost any semi-upscale place in Chicago. I ordered $13 sandwiches that came with bacon that tasted like something I could have quickly made at home in under 10 minutes. There were several errors in my order, and it was clear that there was little pride taken in the food. Additionally, my cocktail was small and forgettable. I left feeling really disappointed.

This place is more of an Irish bar, than a place that showcases desserts, but the desserts they do have, do not disappoint! I had their keylime pie and it was fantastic! They also had a brownie that was good too. Washed it down with a cold Guiness on tap, a board game to play with, and live music, Sweet and Tart Shoppe is a great place to hangout on a low-key date or Saturday night.BATHROOM REVIEW: The unisex single bathroom had ample space and was amazingly clean! Black and white tile, plenty of tasteful stickers, this bathroom was decorated well. Sit or squat? Sit!

Went here for lunch with a party of 6, 2 kids. The young man who was our server was earnest and friendly, but the food was a massive disappointment. We were one of 2 tables, and each dish came out one at a time, the paninis/sandwiches were smashed to hell, and the steak in the spicy steak wrap was akin to subway-grade meat. The mediocre food, while edible, was pretty overpriced. No sandwich/wrap was under $13.00 and that price included a bag of Lays potato chips. It's a shame, it's a cute spot in a cute little downtown area, but I don't think we will return here. This was such a cute place and obviously popular. I was excited to try this place out. Came here for dinner and was disappointed. The server was very friendly and apologetic, but it took an hour to get two small chopped salads and a baked potato. We were done with our cocktails fifteen minutes before the food came and we only had a few minutes to try and eat before we had to leave for our prior engagement. Left hungry and frustrated, with a nearly $80 bill for two cocktails, two very small salads, and one small baked potato.

I had a wonderful experience after stopping in. Staff was friendly and helpful, and food was served promptly. My server was very kind and was able to suggest something I would like, as well as some of the more popular items. I really enjoyed the chicken caesar wrap, which was served with chips. I took a few desserts home which were very tasty. There were quite a few mixed reviews of the restaurant I noticed before coming in, but I had a great time! I would 100% recommend stopping in.

The waitress in shorts was very friendly, but she seemed to be running around chaotically. Another staff member was sitting at the bar, eating and using her phone. I requested condiments, and I'm still waiting for them. The coffee was akin to colored water, and the main breakfast item was missing two ingredients. I'm still waiting for the check. I left and have no plans to return.

The patio is incredible, the service is quick, and the breakfast options are amazing! They offer gluten-free toast and can make GF French toast or gluten-free breakfast sandwiches, which was the primary reason we decided to visit. I haven't tried their Bloody Mary or Mimosas yet, but I'm looking forward to returning for brunch very soon! Reserva una mesa ahora
