Sweet Tomatoes Pizza really needs to hire staff who know what they're doing. A man came in to pick up two pizzas he ordered, and the girl didn’t even check if they were paid for. Fortunately, the man was honest and told her he still needed to pay. I ordered a sandwich, but she piled on so much bacon it would have been swimming in grease, so I canceled my order. I never had these issues at the Needham location, where the sandwich was excellent. The staff here seem overwhelmed and totally absent-minded. If I owned Sweet Tomatoes Pizza, I would seriously reconsider the team working the menu.

If you’re planning to eat here, you might want to stick to the pizza since it seems to be a favorite among customers. I gave an extra star because I recognize I'm reviewing a salad at a pizzeria, but I would suggest avoiding their $10 salads, which felt more like a handful of lettuce.

Dropped by for a quick dinner before a movie on date night. Ordered the medium pesto splash pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust had a perfect crunch. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The pizza was freshly made and served promptly. Definitely one of the best pizza spots in Boston.
