I don't usually do out of town places but this one was too good to not do. The hotel I was staying at suggested the place. Lay out is kind of different, have to go through the bar to get to the dining but not a big deal. Wife ordered the lobster mac and cheese. I took a taste and OMG was it good. It was delicious. I can't over state how good it was. Here's where things went wrong and they really handled it. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was done in a way that made it taste like catfish, they insisted it was not catfish. I can't stand catfish. A southern boy who don't like catfish, I know weird huh.. anyways, let the waitress know I did not like catfish and she immediately got an ord...
I’ve been here a few times after work for my lunch, sat at the bar a few times. Cute bartender, Christine. Her attitude wasn’t the best. I sat next to a couple of guys and they said the same thing when they were walking out. If you work for the service department, you have to nicer. I ordered the lunch special, pizza and a salad. The salad came out and I waited a long time for my pizza. When I got the bill I was charged a large house salad and small pizza. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t feel like dealing with her correcting the bill, so I paid and left. I don’t know if I’ll be back anytime soon.
We went for happy hour and it's a fun, festive experience! We were just traveling through and stopped in but many people had reserved tables together with friends or coworkers because they have a great happy hour food menu for seven dollars each. We had the best onion rings we've had in years plus sausage pizza and also some wings which were delicious but not on $7 menu. Will definitely stop in here again!!
Gordon is the best server! And the others are good too. Everyone is genuinely friendly. Good and fresh food. If something isn't right, they make it right every time. Sybergs gets it right with how they train their employees. They need to make a manual to give other restaurants. And the environment makes you want to be friends with everyone there!
