The Sydney Park Hotel is one of those pubs that you 've driven past, or walked past multiple times and thought that looks pretty cool to check out , yet you never do because you 're never in that part of town for long, just passing through on your commute. Well, that changed on Fathers Day, as I popped in with the wife, my old man and my kids for a well earned frothy chop or two, following an afternoon across the road letting the kids go wild in Sydney Park. The fist thing that struck me was just how homely and relaxing the vibe was inside the main bar. Not pretentious, no overly deafening modern music where you gotta shout to be heard. Mucho para mi decepción de mis esposos (esto fue un lugar regular de defensa con su maternidad, que todo nació y criado en Newtown, la sala de preabas, todavía es capaz de tomar una cerveza y no tiene que ir a Hipster, pero estoy completamente con el Pub en su forma actual como un amantes de la cerveza artesanal satisfecho. the new sydney park hotel had a good atmosphere and great pub food. a favorite with locals. I just wish there were more veg options, as there is a small menu and there are only a few items for vegetarian including maybe one for vegan (not the standard vegan pub dinner: chips count). it would be great if they offered a version of their färger and maische with suzy spoon sausages for example. that said their nachos and vege burger are some of the best round.
I miss when sph was pub 24 hours. I suppose it is better now, but the prices are ridiculously high and they are unconsistent fees that my first beer had no card fee while the second definitiw did, despite they only accept the card payments at the moment. very dodgy, but this time bad.

used to drink a dodgy pub with 7am, but no more. great pub food...parmy was amazing...not fantasy, but good hearty eating. 7 or 8 dollar bear an additional bonus.
great bar, but bad service. stood at the bar for 15 minutes and was not served. it wasn't busy, but it seemed a bit messy, so I left. so far it has been good

If you don't know I'm vegetarian so my reviews are limited but I just had the best mushroom burger I've ever had here.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, with good selection of beer.
