I chose this place based on the reviews and the fact that I was hungry and craving some Chinese. Absolutely the worst Chinese I've ever had! I the General TSO Chicken medium spicy and a spring roll. I could only force myself to eat 1/4 of the General TSO to ease my hunger it was not even remotely spicy but sickeningly sweet the brocoli tops were disgusting like mush ready for the trash and the spring roll was gross I took 2 bites to give it a chance then threw it out. This place looks like a hole in the wall it's just an entrance to what at some time may have been a restaurant the door opens to a space that maybe could fit 2 people. There are some windows but they're so dirty you cannot see...
My wife and I are big fans of Lei Lei. I've noticed many reviews addressing issues with the food and the pickup process, so I wanted to take a moment to support my favorite Chinese takeout place in Havertown. The prices are excellent, and we have never experienced a wrong order. Our go-to dishes include General Tso's (the combo platter with pork fried rice and an egg roll is a fantastic deal), chicken lo mein, and pork dumplings. Everything is consistently delicious, and our orders are typically ready in about 15 minutes. The staff is always friendly and grateful for our business. Long live Lei Lei!
I'm very particular about Chinese food, but I absolutely love this restaurant! I can't express how excited I am whenever I place an order. I've been a customer for about three years now. Initially, I had to pick up my orders since I didn't live nearby, but now I'm just around the corner and can have it delivered straight to my door. I can't wait to call them to have my meal dropped off. The fried rice, lo mein, Buddhist delight, moo goo, shrimp rolls, steamed dumplings, fried wontons, and wonton soup are all absolutely fantastic!
I absolutely love this restaurant! My family frequently orders from here, and we've never received the wrong order. The customer service is excellent, and the food is consistently delicious! I really appreciate the family that owns this place. I highly recommend visiting!
