When I moved to Summit, we discovered this bakery. I remember when Dunkin’ Donuts used to be good nearly 30 years ago, but I stopped eating donuts because nothing around here was up to par. That all changed when we found Talerico Martin Retail Bakery. Their donuts are top quality and worth every penny. Since then, we haven’t tried anything else because their donuts are simply that good. We often buy them to share with family, my husband’s coworkers, and everyone always loves them.

Talerico Martin Bakery is simply a wonderful place! The tempting scent of freshly baked treats welcomes you right away, and then you’re faced with the enjoyable task of picking from a wide variety of donuts, muffins, cakes, cookies, and more! If you find yourself in the Summit area, forget about Dunkin' Donuts and make your way to Talerico Martin instead!
Don't get me wrong. Their cookies are heavenly. I would love to be able to go into the shop in Summit but there's no handicapped parking that I could find. East parking lot is full of employees, not a problem. West parking wasn't plowed and I wasn't sure there was an opening to the store. Couldn't risk it. Turned around and went back to Evergreen Park.
I recently bought an Atomic cake for a birthday celebration, and it was absolutely fantastic! It’s by far the best cake I've ever tasted and has quickly become one of my favorites. The staff here is super friendly too! We will definitely be ordering from this place for the holidays and future birthdays!

I was lucky to come across this bakery while I was nearby. I tasted the cheesecake batter pastry, and it was one of the most delicious things I've ever had. It's evident that the staff puts a lot of care and skill into their creations. You should definitely check it out—you won't be disappointed!

They have created several cakes for us, including one featuring my son's drawing of Zeus. Everyone at the party praised how delicious the cake was. I've just placed another order with them!

The donuts are exceptionally soft. We also sampled a small strawberry cheesecake that was priced at $19.99, while a dozen donuts cost $15.
I drive all the way from Merrillville, Indiana for their Atomic cake in a cup !!!Need I say anymore???
