This is the second time I have been to Tapavino. I love it!! The service is excellent, and in a smaller town, you get to know people. Robin is lovely and I would think the Chef is her partner, and the dishes, are so tasty. We each had a salad with argula and beets, and then shared lamb sliders (4), and shrimp, plus mushroom medley. Loved it all. You do not go out feeling overly stuffed. We each had a glass of the vino that we love and it was a perfect evening during a pandemic. We felt completely safe, as it is a very small dining area. Perfect spot for couples or a few friends/family.
This small restaurant is cozy and very romantic, specializing in lifestyle tapas and wine. It is run by a lovely couple and was opened at the start of the pandemic. The male owner, who also serves as the chef, has personally decorated the restaurant with beautiful and cozy decorations. We tried a variety of gin and tonic cocktails, which were well-made and presented beautifully. Our food choices included prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, a mushroom medley on toast, and lamb sliders, all cooked with obvious passion. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Fergus.
We had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. There were four of us celebrating a pre-Christmas get together. We enjoyed drinks and four different tapas dishes. The food was fresh and delicious, with amazing flavors. The drink selection was perfect and the service was just right, not too much and not too little. I will definitely return. The ambiance was great. Parking was easy with lots of street parking available.
The service, food, and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. The freshly prepared food was a standout, a refreshing change from the big chain restaurants that put smaller businesses out of business. This place is a definite winner. I especially loved how the shrimp were arranged beautifully on top of the dumplings.
It's a cute place with flavourful food. Delicious, actually. The server was very helpful and friendly. I didn't have the wine but my friends tried a couple and enjoyed them. If you're looking for a place with a calm, chill atmosphere and have a craving for tasty bites, this is a good place to try out.
My party dined at this restaurant on our way to a show in Kitchener. The food presentation was excellent and each dish was served promptly. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend trying the lobster rolls and lamb sliders.
